Lisa Greene is the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for WarnerMedia News & Sports. She leads a multinational team in the management of all human resources functions for the company’s news and sports brands, including CNN U.S., CNN Digital, CNN International, CNN en Español, CNN Airport Network, Great Big Story, HLN, Turner Sports, Bleacher Report, and AT&T Regional Sports Networks. Leading teams in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, Greene oversees the execution of the global human resources strategy while also contributing as a member of the executive leadership team that has guided CNN Worldwide to its greatest success in two decades.
Greene joined the CNN Washington, D.C. Bureau in 2009 as the Director of Human Resources. In 2013, she was promoted into a newly created role of Vice President of Human Resources for CNN when Jeff Zucker joined the organization. She served as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources from 2015 to 2019. Prior to joining CNN, Greene held roles driving human resources solutions for global companies in the investment and consulting industries.
Greene holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Mary Washington. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), and an alumna of the WICT Betsy Magness Leadership Institute.
