HONG KONG (AP) -- Cannes best actor winner Tony Leung Chiu-wai and longtime companion Carina Lau have held a wedding ceremony at a resort in the Himalayan nation Bhutan.

Hong Kong art-house director Wong Kar-wai's Jet Tone Films earlier confirmed the location of the wedding and released several wedding photos but didn't immediately provide more detail.
The Apple Daily newspaper reported Tuesday that a local monk presided over the wedding, and other monks chanted prayers.
